Can't Touch This

IF Racing wins again!!!!

FT/IF pb Lionette's Development Team wins for the 3rd Saturday in a row. Kevin took the Saco Crit this Saturday afternoon from a star packed field after lapping the field with two other riders, (Professional rider Dan Vaillancourt, and Ryan Fleming)

Somebody bring a hose, cuz we are on FIRE!

Here is Kevin's report:
Saco Bay crit

We seem to be on a little tear recently. Tommy G, Bruno, Todd, and I lined up Saturday for the Saco crit. Fun course with a few tricky corners before the finish. Kenda Raleigh set a scorcher pace for the first 5 or so laps. A few little seperations started happening, I perked up and made my way to the front. I bridged a little gap to one of them, decided to keep it rolling and attacked through it. Dan Vaillancourt followed me and we pedalled extra good for a couple of laps to get a gap. Ryan Fleming bridged to us, and before I knew it we were out of sight. A break was up the road when we got there, so Bruno, Tommy, and Todd made there way to the front to keep it close. Dan lead out the finish and I got around him to take the win. 3 FT/IF wins in 3 weeks, and this one came with a gracious trophy presentation from Saco's mayor emeritus. Pictures to come. Super. Plus Todd got the halfway prime.

Thanks to the kind hosting of Tommy and Kristen, that was just part of the weekend. We recovered with a hilarious and delicious dinner at Tommy's and a couple of trips to Old Orchard Beach. The night was chalk full "immature" jokes, fried dough, mini-golf, speedos, lotion, and yummy Harpoon beer. Turns out I'm a mean piano player when the piano is fisher price and plays for me. I also learned that 36 tickets buys a low-quality chinese finger trap and two tootsie rolls. And apparently playing DDR, leathery skin, and toxic quantities of hair gel and axe is the key to success in OOB. Things to strive for.

OOPS...We did it again! and again

The Devo Team took our third win in 8 days.

Kevin Wolfson won the Pro,1,2 Frontier Crit in Louden, NH on Saturday. Earlier in the week, Tuesday, we raced on the New England Velodrome hanging with Tony and having lots of fun. On Wednesday we did the Witches Crit in Salem, MA where Todd was in perfect position at the end, only to get crashed out. After the race on Saturday we headed across NH to compete in a 100k mountain bike race, the NH 100. Greg finished fourth and the rest of us pulled out early as we don't have the skills off the pavement.

But...Trish Stevenson does have the skills offroad. She proved her endurace by completing the Colorado Trail Race. Not only did she crush the other women but also finished 4th overall. She then crushed again at the Fools Gold in GA, part of the NUE series.

Nice.
We crush you. We crush your little heads.

Pro/Devo Team Gets a Win

The FT/IF pb Lionette's Pro Development Team scored their first real win of the season. We have raced well all year with podium placing in some very big races, but the top step has eluded us. No longer.

Today at the Gate City Cyclone Criterium, Todd Yezefski won the race from a break of about ten. Kevin, Tommy, and Bruno made sure they stayed away and Todd delivered the goods.

Nice. I like.
